Universal Standards
The Chinese Emperor ‘Play'n'Wear’ playsuit is based on an Imperial Dragon Robe on display in the V&A's Chinese art collection. The playsuit is cut to reflect the features of the robe and the decorative elements are incredibly faithful to the original garment. Whilst intended to give children something fun to wear, the playsuit is accompanied by a colourful picture booklet about the Chinese Emperor and the biggest Empire in history aimed at young children (ages 3 to 8), which hopefully will inspire children to take a step back in time and learn a little bit of history.
