A new theme is selected each year for the opulent V&A diary. Available in two sizes: handbag and desk. The 2010 edition celebrates dress - from the bright silks of the Maharajas to the intricately patterned Japanese kimono. Focusing on garments from the collections at the V&A, it is a sumptuous and colourful representation of dress and the people who wore it. Details of fastenings, necklines, cuffs, hemlines and fringes create a visual feast of textures, patterns and craftsmanship as well as accessories, photographs, paintings and illustrations.
